Visiting any church can be a difficult experience. We would like to set you at ease. Our goal is that your first visit to University Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) would be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for the whole family! We want you to experience encouraging music, practical teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a genuine sense of being "at home." If there is anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable, please let us know!

What should I expect?
Our building is located at 3610 Southmore Boulevard; between Tierwester and Scott. Parking is located behind the building, in addition to street parking at the front of the building. Upon entering the building at either of these entrances, you will be in the main foyer. We currently offer one service on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM; this is where you can expect to experience worship music, church event announcements, and biblical preaching. Each service normally lasts just over an hour. We also offer Wednesday Prayer Vigil and Bible Study starting at 6:30 PM via conference call.

Where do I take my kids?
Parents can keep their children with them during the worship service.

Am I expected to participate in the offering?
No. We do not invite you to UCC for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. An offering is totally voluntary and appreciated. As our guest, please do not feel any obligation to participate in the offering.

What should I wear?
We have no required "dress-code" at UCC, for either members or guests. In fact, at any given service, you will see a variety of different outfits, from suit-and-tie to jeans-and-t-shirt — and everything in between. Our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here!

What is your worship style?
We incorporate a blended style of worship, which means that in a typical service we will sing both traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs.
